Mrs. Van Riel: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday morning.
Our locum doctor, Mrs. Meijer will be available on Thursday afternoon. Our locum doctor, Mrs. van Oosten will be available on Friday.
Mr. Hoeksema: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, alternately present on Thursday or Friday. Our locum doctor, Mr. Homburg is alternately present on Thursday or Friday.
Dr Hoeksema’s practice regularly employs a general practitioner in training.

The practice is open weekdays from 8 am – 5 pm.

We can be reached by phone between 8 till 11am and from 2 till 4pm. For testresult please call between 2 till 4pm.
You have your own doctor You are registered with one of the GP’s and your appointments will be with him/her only. When your GP is unavailable due to temporary absence and you cannot wait until your own GP returns, one of the other doctors will substitute.

Consultation hours doctors
All consultations are by appointment and with your own GP. Due to the scheduling of the consultation, the assistant will ask for the reason of your visit. If you wish to discuss multiple health issues, please inform the assistant. If you wish to cancel your appointment, please inform us as soon as possible!
Note: It is always possible to bring a translator to your appointment; or you can ask us to book an official translator. This ensures that all patients are welcome, regardless which language they speak.
Consulting hours assistant:
Only by appointment for: ear syringing, wart treatment, cervical smear, STD screening, wound dressing, stitch removal, measurement of blood pressure or blood glucose, injections, hearing test, urine testing, etc. Please deliver your urine sample before 10.00 am.
Consulting hours nurse practitioners for somatic care
On appointment, for monitoring and guiding people with diabetes, high blood pressure, chronic heart problems, asthma and COPD, help to quit smoking and general questions about healthy lifestyle.
Consulting hours nurse practitioners for mental care
On appointment. First you see your GP before you will be referred.
Home visits
If you are unable to come to the practice but need to see your doctor for medical reasons, you can request a home visit. Due to scheduling, home visits need to be requested before 11.00 am.
Repeat prescriptions You can request repeat prescriptions 24 hours a. Messages are listened to daily at 11 am. You can pick up the medication 3 days later at your pharmacy.
Medical advice by phone The assistant often can give advice by phone. If necessary, your GP will call back between 12.00 and 2.00pm. For obtaining test results please call between 2.00 and 4.00 pm.
Evening, night, and weekend duties Evening, night, and weekend service are arranged by Doktersdienst Groningen, van Swietenlaan 2b, Phone 0900-9229.
Complaints and suggestions We try to help you as well as possible. If you have any complaints or suggestions, please discuss them with your GP or with the assistant. In case of remaining complaints you may contact: Stichting Klachten&Geschillen Eerstelijnszorg: www.skge.nl.
Location Bloemsingel 269 is on the corner between Boterdiep and Bloemsingel. The entrance is at the Boterdiep side. We have an annex at: Korreweg 118a
